Authentication with PDF4me

To use PDF4me in n8n, you need to authenticate using your API Key. You can register at either dev.pdf4me.com (Developer Portal) or pdf4me.com (Consumer Portal).

Getting Started with PDF4me n8n Workflows

Step 1: Create Your PDF4me Account

Register for access at dev.pdf4me.com to get instant API access:

Step 2: Access n8n Platform

Log in to n8n with your account:

  1. Visit n8n.io
  2. Sign in with your account
  3. Access "Workflows" dashboard
  4. Click "+ New Workflow" to create a new workflow

Step 3: Add PDF4me Node

Add PDF4me to your n8n workflow:

  1. Click "+" to add node
  2. Search for "PDF4me" in nodes list
  3. Select PDF4me node
  4. Choose desired action (Convert, Merge, Split, etc.)
  5. Configure credentials with API key when prompted

Example: Create a Barcode with PDF4me in n8n

Generate barcodes in your n8n workflow with these steps:

Step 1: Add PDF4me Node

Search for "PDF4me" in the nodes panel and drag the "Create Barcode" node into your workflow canvas.

Step 2: Configure Barcode Settings

Set the required parameters:

  • Barcode Type: Select format (Code39, EAN-13, QR Code, etc.)
  • Content/Text: Enter the data to encode
  • Optional Settings: Adjust size, resolution, or orientation as needed
