Tips Praktis

Confirm the mirror direction before automating at scale

Test one image manually first. Horizontal and Vertical are easy to swap when you are working from a description rather than a screenshot.

Flipping keeps quality, resizing does not

This action mirrors pixels without recompressing. If you also need a smaller file, chain a separate Resize Image or Compress Image step after the flip.

Text in the image flips too

Any text baked into the image (watermarks, captions, signage) mirrors along with the rest of the pixels. Flip before adding a text watermark, not after, if the watermark must stay readable.

Use Rotate Image for angle changes

Flip Image only mirrors along an axis. For a 90 or 270 degree turn, use the separate Rotate Image action instead.

Give the output file a distinct name

Set File Name explicitly (for example flipped_photo.jpg) so a downstream step or storage folder does not overwrite the original source image.
