Fix 402 No Credit Available or Daily Call Limit Over

A 402 response from PDF4me means your account has run out of API credits or has hit a usage limit. The request is valid, but we can't process it until your quota is refreshed or increased.

What to Do

  1. Check your usage in the PDF4me Dashboard to see how many calls you've used and when credits reset
  2. Add prepaid calls – If your plan supports it, purchase additional API calls to continue
  3. Upgrade your plan – If you regularly hit limits, consider upgrading to a plan with more included calls
  4. Optimize usage – Cache results where possible, batch operations, and avoid repeated calls for the same document

What This Means

No Credit Available

Your account has used all available API calls for the current period. Depending on your plan, credits may renew monthly or when you add prepaid calls.

Daily Call Limit Over

Some plans include a daily limit on API calls. If you've reached that limit, wait until the next day for it to reset, or upgrade to a plan with a higher daily allowance.

Page Limit Exceeded

If you see Page Limit Exceeded (400), your document or operation exceeds the page limit for your plan. Check the pricing page for limits and consider splitting large documents or upgrading.
